JOAN REINMUTH is a satirist, comedian, and visual artist. Born in 1942, she was taught “the right to remain silent” by parents prepared to make sacrifices and speak out. Voted Most Likely to Rage Well in nursing school, she learned advocacy and science while considering the infinite possibilities in the healing arts. After 30 years in city and local hospitals, working at Planned Parenthood, and with five children, Joan knows something about exact equivalency, risk taking and shortcuts. With an additional degree in art, she is distinguished in Jewelry and Ceramics; visually exploring reasoning, humor, and pleasure. Her “Comedy with a Conscience” reflects quality of life issues. Says Joan, “It is humor that puts you in a problem-solving mood. Deliver the premise but don’t wake up the fact checker. You don’t have to
have an aversion to conformity, but it helps.”

CAROLYN MAROSY is a New Jersey native and a born rebel. She picked up the guitar at age nine and began her calling. She has been forming bands and writing songs since she was sixteen. Her own original band, RAW, a mix of rock/surf/punk, was formed in 1998. She played at many of the legendary NY rock clubs, such as CBGB and Continental. Following RAW’s breakup in 2002, Carolyn was hired as a side guitarist, recording and performing with many original bands over the span of about 20 years. In 2019, she began writing and recording her current EP release, “Loners, Misfits and Rebels”. Since then, she has been bringing her music to the stage both solo, and with a band. Influenced by Pete Townshend, Patti Smith, Joe Strummer and John Lennon, Carolyn approaches her art with a raw edge and a genuine, very personal depth. “Music allows me to take a deep dive into the joy and pain of life; where strength and resilience is key. There is nothing in this world we cannot rise above when we have music and people we connect with.” She will be a part of an upcoming documentary produced in the UK, “On Resistance Street”. Carolyn now lives in Kingston, NY - a lifelong dream - with her wife, 2 black cats and numerou guitars. http://www.carolynmarosy.com Instagram:carolynknievel ......................................
